Refund & Replacement Policy

Our goal is simple: you should end up with a working lamp you love. Whenever something goes wrong, our first remedy is always a free replacement — fast, at no cost to you, and with no need to return anything in most cases.

Defective, damaged or incorrect items

If your item arrives defective, damaged, with missing parts or accessories, or if you received the wrong item, contact us at contact@vaoth.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo or short video of the issue. We will ship you a free replacement — you do not need to return the original item. All Vaoth lamps are additionally covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Parcel marked "delivered" but not received

When tracking shows a delivery scan at your address but you cannot locate the parcel, the process described in our Shipping Policy applies (household and neighbor check, then contacting your local post office — by phone is fine). If the carrier cannot locate your parcel, obtain written confirmation from the carrier that the parcel was not delivered to you (a "Non-Delivery Certificate"). As accepted at checkout, this certificate is the supporting document for non-delivery claims: upon receipt, we will ship a free replacement immediately at no cost. Our team will assist you at every step and investigate with the carrier in parallel.

Change of mind / returns

If you simply change your mind, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original condition and original packaging. Contact contact@vaoth.com to obtain a return authorization and instructions before sending anything back — unauthorized returns cannot be processed. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Once the return is received and inspected, the refund is issued to your original payment method, minus original shipping costs where applicable.

Order cancellation

Orders can be cancelled free of charge as long as they have not shipped. Once shipped, the situation is handled as a return (see above).

Refunds

Where a refund is granted, it is issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional few days to appear on your statement. Refunds for non-delivery claims require the carrier confirmation described above; replacements remain our primary and fastest remedy.

If anything is wrong with your order, please contact us first at contact@vaoth.com — we resolve the vast majority of issues within days, including free replacements. Payment disputes opened without prior contact slow down resolution for everyone, including you.
